“On the Lot” has three things going for it: Carrie Fisher, Garry Marshall and Brett Ratner. All three judges have real Hollywood creds. While most know Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, she is known in Hollywood as a script doctor, or a writer who gets paid to clean up bad screenplays. Garry Marshall has years of sitcoms behind him, but also major Hollywood hits like Pretty Woman. Brett Ratner starred in MTV videos and advanced to X-Men 3.
