40 kids rough it for 40 nights
“Some things are just impossible to get used to,” he told the Daily News yesterday. “The outhouses, it wasn’t the most lovely thing walking into the outhouses every day.”
“Kid Nation” launches Sept. 19 and follows 40 kids, ranging in age from 8 to 15, who were bused out to an abandoned town in Bonanza City, N.M., where they were asked to live together for 40 days.
No parents. No iPods. And, uh, no toilets.
