Wedding dress stumps one ‘Runway’ designer
Challenged to produce a new outfit from a model’s old clothes, Steven was randomly assigned a woman who was wearing a wedding dress. “I wish you well,” she told him. Steven, overwhelmed by the task, said, “I will need your well wishes.” Tim Gunn agreed that Steven had a lot of work ahead of him: “I think you have the biggest challenge.” At the end, Steven said his dress “got slapped together with glue and a prayer,” but the judges didn’t think that prayer was answered. Nina Garcia said he took the dress “from a wedding to a funeral. Why go so somber?” Michael Kors said it looked like a “French maid at a funeral.”
