The Salt-N-Pepa Show
When Cheryl James abruptly abandoned her red-hot career as “Salt” of the hip-hop duo Salt-N-Pepa and became a Christian, she also shattered her relationship with partner Sandra “Pepa” Denton.
Ten years after drifting away from the band, James, 43, is trying to be true to both faith and friendship by reconciling with Denton in the VH1 reality show “The Salt-N-Pepa Show” (Mondays at 10 p.m. EST).

Just been watching the reality show and i can’t believe what Pepa has to put up with now just to do a performance with Salt. I just loved and still do love Salt n Pepa, they hold a very special place in my heart from my childhool, lots of memories. But like I say, Pepa must have patience of a saint to put up with all the controlling crap thrown at her. Salt needs to take a chill pill and let her hair down a bit before she explodes.

i have to agree Sally, when i heard they were doing the show ..i thought pepa would be bossy…how wrong i was…Salt is too controlling , intimading, and down right rude….she made such a fuss about ‘money’ when she did a ‘blind date’ for Pepa…like s&p but the more i watch the more i dislike Salt.

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A FAN OF SALT&PEPA AND I LOVE THAT THE TWO OF THEM IS GETTING BACK CLOSE, I FEEL THAT SALT IS NOT CONTROLLING PEPA I FEEL SHE IS JUST LOOKING OUT FOR HER BECAUSE SHE KNOWS PEPA , LIKE A MOTHER KNOWS HER CHILD, IF SHE DON’T STAY ON HER SHE MAY GET TO OUT OF HAND AND LETS FACE THE FACTS GOD COMES BEFORE EVERYTHING SO REAL PEPA I KNOW IS HAPPY CHERYL CAME BACK TO THE GROUP.MTW

I know that Salt thought it was the “Christian” thing to do by aaaaaaaaaaalways calling Pepa out on everything she did….BUT, she didn’t do it in a Christ like manner at all…………………she was constantly trying to prove to the “world” how she was NOT AT ALL like Pepa…..meaning she’s PERFECT. She just kept saying WE ARE OPPOSITES, as if Pepa worships the devil and is a jezebel and anything else that’s not good. BUT, she had no probs. letting the world know that a man has to have MONEY to be successful…his own business or corporate american……she’s full of herself and still has worldly issues to hash out with herself and her God. I was surprised that she kept that allowed Pepa the think that her (salt) word was all that matters, her validation was needed for Pepa to feel good about herself and her input was needed for Pepa to be human……….she set a bad ezample of what the walk of being a true Christian was about…..Pepa let the bible class know, ….”she don’t have no problems putting people in their place in a good or bad way.” I hope that she saw herself and saw tht she too needed to change some things….Salt.
