The Search for NYC’s Best Subway Musician Begins
MSG’s new show NYC Sound Tracks is an eight episode series that literally goes underground to find NYC’s best subway musicians in where else, but the subway stations down under! And YOU, the viewers, will have a chance to vote for your favorite.
5 Boroughs, 16 musicians, compete to win the chance of becoming NYC’s greatest subway musician.
To break it down, over the first three episodes of the series, MSG’s cameras will scour the NYC subway system to offer viewers an inside look into the culture and lifestyle of the underground musician, including an open call audition where 16 performers will be selected to compete in the NYC Sound Tracks competition. MSG’s new original series NYC Sound Tracks begins Sunday, July 13 at 8:00 p.m. and is hosted by TV personality Gillian Pensavalle.

Fun. I hope to see people I know from the subway, like the bold drummer, and the ‘Saw Lady’ or the chinese guy who plays what looks like a toy sax to me.
