Top Chef: New York Wednesday 1/14 – Farm Foodies
First, the chefs are a little dejected when the quickfire challenge has them cooking a delicious dish using canned goods with only 15 minutes to work with –in honor of Season 3 Winner Hung who serves as quickfire judge.
For the elimination round, it’s time for the big city chefs to head to the country. The chef’testants must shop for the freshest of ingredients at Blue Hill Farm and then work with what they have to create a feast for the farm workers themselves. Will the chefs be able to pull it all off? Dan Barber, chef and co-owner of Blue Hill restaurant in NYC, serves as guest judge.
