Amanda was pitted to weigh in against Sione, who she compared to Mount Everest. And even though Sione had a bad week, Amanda had an even worse one. Bob attributed it to the amount of stress she was under and the effect stress has on the body. Amanda wanted to stay on campus and have her sister go home, and had worked out an arrangement with Laura from the Black team (who had an extra vote she had earned last week that would force a tie) so the Black team likely would have sent Aubrey home. But at the last minute, Amanda decided that she could lose the weight at home and her sister needed to stay. “I’m proud of my decision to sacrifice myself for Aubrey,” Amanda said from home. “She needs to find out who she really is.” Since starting “The Biggest Loser,” Amanda has lost 84 pounds.
