Bizarre Foods in Eastern Australia – 5/12 at 10 E/P
Tonight Andrew visits Australia where he has the opportunity to try some of the most exotic and unique species found only down under. He goes snorkeling, spear fishing, and even visits a farm where they “pamper” their cattle. Andrew also ventures through the Sydney Fish Market where he finds things he has never tasted before such as Morton Bay and Balamain Bugs, Flathead Fish, and Spanner Crabs.
Andrew’s first stop is Deep Blue Bistro in Coogee Beach where he tries a variety of indigenous flavors from the bush: kangaroo tail soup, bogon moths, and a mango parfait are on the menu. Next, Andrew travels to Sydney Harbor where he snacks on the popular Vegemite. To work off some calories under the hot Australian sun, Andrew slips into his surf suit and grabs a surfboard to catch some waves. This is just the beginning!
