Man v. Food in Little Rock
This town may be called “Little” Rock, but there is nothing little about the food Adam finds here. His first stop is at the Osborne Family Farm for a BBQ honoring the local police and fire departments.
To say this is the “biggest and best” BBQ platter Adam has ever encountered would be an understatement. Each person gets a tray with an entire 4-pound chicken, a dinosaur-sized beef rib, a huge slab of brisket, 6 spicy sausages, a massive pulled pork sandwich, and an 8-inch turkey leg. (Oddly enough, a Diet Coke is one of the beverage options. LOL!).
Next is a quick stop at the Cotham Mercantile for some “southern fried delicious goodness” (as one restaurant patron put it). This place is known for having the biggest burger in town: The Hubcap. The beef on this burger is 8-inches in diameter, but that’s not what makes it special. Adam get’s the Quadruple Hubcap Burger which is four of these monstrous patties stacked on a bun.
The main challenge in this episode literally made me cringe. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Adam sweat so much from a spicy challenge. He hits up the Mean Pig BBQ to take on a super spicy pulled-pork sandwich known as the Shut Up Juice Challenge. Over 4,000 people have tried this challenge, but only 64 have completed it. That’s under 2%!
Will this sandwich shut Adam up and shut him down? Tune-in Wednesday, November 25th, at 10 E/P to find out.
