That’s the question that will no doubt consume contestants on the 12th edition of CBS’ voyeuristic reality TV series that confines a group of strangers — or houseguests, as they’re known on “Big Brother” — inside a makeshift two-story domicile for the summer, all while being constantly monitored by over 50 video cameras and 95 microphones.

A former contestant on the CBS reality show “Big Brother 9″ pleaded not guilty Wednesday to a federal drug charge.

Matthew McDonald, a 26-year-old roofer from Boston, was arraigned Wednesday after being indicted Tuesday on a charge of conspiracy to distribute oxycodone.

The winner of the CBS reality television show “Big Brother 9″ was ordered on Tuesday to undergo substance abuse counseling at a Massachusetts treatment center before being released on bail on drug charges.

Adam Jasinski, of Delray Beach, Fla., has pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempting to sell 2,000 pills of oxycodone, the main active ingredient in OxyContin and other painkillers.

The only way the scheming 24-year-old from Gilbert, Ariz., will have a shot at the CBS reality show’s $500,000 grand prize is if one of the remaining competitors chooses her to battle against for winning bids from the “Big Brother 11″ jury, which will include viewer votes as a possible tiebreaker.

After besting Martinez in qualifying bouts last week, Jordan Lloyd, 22, from Matthews, N.C., and Kevin Campbell, 29, from Chula Vista, Calif., will tussle during Tuesday’s finale in the last Head of Household competition. The winner will choose his or her opponent.

“Big Brother 11” has pulled some mean stunts in its time, but few as cruel as forcing us to listen to Casey — back on Tuesday night as a pre-recorded voice inside an ape idol — rapping riddles for the house guests in the “Power of Veto” competition. Casey’s lame rhythms and the hunt for the bananas (or as Jordan calls ‘em, “ba-nay-nas”) was almost a turn-off.
