‘Top Model’ actually picks right winner

It’s the dawn of a new era, Model fans, not just an era of petite-ness, though for the record, previous winner Eva is only 5′6 and change, but an era of — dare I write it? — lucidity, credibility or seeming relevance? It was Bloody Eyeball versus the Bull Castrator, and to the episode’s credit, it had me believing there was almost a credible contest. But we all knew what would happen Wednesday night, and the best part was that it actually did.

US man convicted in NYC of stalking Tyra Banks

A Georgia man who told police he and Tyra Banks “had a thing together” was convicted Thursday of stalking the supermodel-turned-TV host.

Brady Green, 39, of Georgia, was convicted by Manhattan Criminal Court Judge James Burke, who heard the case without a jury, of stalking, harassment, criminal trespass and attempted aggravated harassment.

The New York auditions for the reality show’s 13th cycle is rescheduled for Saturday, April 11, after the March auditions ended in arrests, injuries and tears when a riot broke out. Apparently, one of the people in line yelled that a car was about to explode after spying smoke coming from a nearby car. Chaos predictably ensued.
